The City of Austin Redevelopment Commission (“Commission”) is requesting proposals from qualified developers for the purchase and redevelopment of property owned by the Commission and located at 85 E. Main Street, Austin, Indiana 47102.
The Commission seeks proposals for a development project that will enhance the downtown area and promote economic growth and community revitalization. Water Treatment Plant Building Storm Damage Repair Bid
Notice is hereby given that the City of Scottsburg, Indiana by and through its Water Board (the “City”), will receive sealed bid packets for the Water Treatment Plant Building Storm Damage Repair Bid.
The bids for the project shall be Lump Sum Price for all repairs in the contract documents and specifications. Sealed bids must be received by the City of Scottsburg Utility Office no later than 3:45 pm. local time on June 24, 2026 at the City of Scottsburg City Hall, located at 821 S. Lake Road South, Scottsburg, IN 47170. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud after 4:00 pm local time on June 24, 2026 at the City of Scottsburg Water Board Meeting.
The project will be bid in one singular contract as outlined in the contract documents and specifications. Plans and specifications for the project are on file and may be examined at the following location:

The work to be performed will include demolition, roof repair/installation, soffit, fascia, gutter and downspout repair/installation, trim, ceiling tile removal and replacement, insulation removal and replacement, HVAC improvements, and all other items mentioned in the contract documents and referenced during the prebid meeting.
The work to be performed shall include all costs necessary to provide sufficient completion of any and all construction, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, bonds, and all other items necessary for the construction of the project. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the title of the project, name and address of the bidder, and the date of the bid opening. All bids are required to be submitted on the bid forms included in the contract documents and specifications.
A mandatory prebid meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:00am local time at the Scottsburg Water Plant at 739 W. Lake Road West, Scottsburg, IN 47170. This meeting is being held to confirm that all bidders have had the opportunity to see the extent of the repairs needed and confirm understanding of scope of services.
A certified check or bid bond, made payable to the City of Scottsburg, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest bid shall be included in the bid submission.
A conditional or uncomplete bid will not be accepted or considered. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept any and all bids, or to adjust quantities as necessary according to their budgets, and to waive any and all formalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety days.
Bid award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. All applicable State and Federal laws, rules and regulations, and ordinances of all authorities having jurisdiction over installation and construction of this project shall apply throughout the project duration.
Bids shall be complete and properly executed on the required bid forms, and shall include all requested information. Each bidder shall be responsible for evaluation of the project documents and specifications, as well as inspection of any and all site conditions.
