Discovering the fascinating world of herbs through history, gardening, and hands-on learning at the monthly Herb Class Series at the Scott County Heritage Center & Museum.
Instructors will be Scott County Master Gardeners, Caitlin Hall and Missy Calloway. The interactive workshop explores how herbs were used by early settlers while teaching modern ways to grow, prepare and use herbs at home.
Each class includes:
•Historical and Traditional herbal uses.
•How to grow and care for herbs.
•Practical plan facts and take-home handouts.
•Taste testing of foods and drinks featuring the featured herb.
•A free plan for every participant.
Classes are the 1st Thursday of each month at 6 – 7 p.m. May 7th date will feature “Rosemary”
