Scott County friends and neighbors are invited to a 1-mile family fun walk and community health fair at the Scottsburg Courthouse Square on Saturday, May 9. Registration for the walk will begin at 8 a.m., with the walk starting at 9 a.m. The health fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants over age 18 can receive free health screenings, including blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index; and qualified participants can take home colon cancer screening kits. Meet Norton Scott Hospital team members and take part in family-friendly activities, including games, crafts, Norton Children’s Prevention & Wellness Safety Care-a-van, health education and community resources.
Registration for the walk is encouraged.
Norton Scott Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Scottsburg, has been providing care to Scott County and its neighboring communities since 1959.
