A convicted sex offender is now facing additional charges after Crothersville Police found nude photos of him posted on an internet website.

Scott Louis Divine, 45 of the 12300 block of US Highway 50 east of Seymour now faces nine felony counts of public nudity, two counts of cemetery mischief and obstruction of justice.
Divine is on the Indiana sex offender registry after being convicted in June 2014 of distributing child pornography. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and was released in Sept. 2021. As a condition of his probation he is a registered sex offender for life.
Crothersville Assistant Chief of Police Jonathon Tabor said he received an anonymous tip on Nov. 19 that Divine had posted several hundred photos of himself nude on a website. Tabor reported in the probable cause affidavit that Divine, who on the website goes by the user name Princess Twinkle Toes, posted selfies of himself nude at Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge, at the shelterhouse, fire tower and on playground equipment on Skyline Drive, Roxy Roller Rink, Smallwood Cemetery in Brownstown Township, and Wal-Mart.
Tabor reported over 2,000 photos had been uploaded.
According to the court document, as a condition of his probation and being on the sex offender registry, Divine is not allowed to have a smart device or internet access.
On Nov. 28 Tabor requested and was granted a search warrant for Divine’s apartment and vehicle. Tabor and Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies served the search warrant at 10:48 a.m.
According to the probable cause, Divine told officers that he did have a cell phone and internet access and uploaded the photos of himself but learned police were looking for him he removed the phone’s SIM card and threw it away along with all he sex toys he had. He acknowledged to officers that he did not tell his probation officer that he had a cell phone.
Divine was booked into Jackson County Jail at 12:28 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28. He was released at 10:53 p.m. Dec. 4 after posting a $705 bond. He was scheduled for an initial hearing before Judge AmyMarie Travis on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
