Enrolling in Medicare can be confusing—from the flood of mail to the maze of coverage options. This seminar is designed to cut through the noise and provide clear, unbiased information to help you understand when and how to enroll, what each part of Medicare covers, and how to evaluate your current or future plan. This presentation will be provided by representatives from Indiana SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program), who offer free, unbiased, and impartial health insurance counseling to help individuals understand their Medicare options and make informed decisions. Whether you’re approaching eligibility or helping a loved one, this session will give you the confidence to take the next step. A complimentary meal will be served at 5:00 pm.

Advance Care Planning: Preparing for the Unexpected

Planning ahead can bring peace of mind. This session will help individuals and families understand the importance of advance directives, palliative care, and how to take practical steps toward documenting healthcare wishes. A panel of medical experts will share insights and answer questions to help you prepare thoughtfully for the future. A complimentary dinner will be served at 5:00 pm.

What’s the Advantage: Navigating Medicare Advantage

Monday, Oct. 26 at 5 pm and

Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 10 am 

This session dives into the differences between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, including Schneck’s own MyTruAdvantage plan. Learn about plan benefits, coverage details, provider networks, and how to determine what’s right for your needs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with a licensed agent to get personalized answers to their questions.
