Scott County Farm Tour will take place Saturday, Aug. 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Transportation and lunch will be provided.
“The tour is not intended for persons already farming as it is for those interested in farming and seeking information about what farming in Scott County is all about,” said Tom Springstun, Purdue Extension educator.
Visit Scott County farming operations specializing in row crops, popcorn, beef cattle, tobacco, forestry, sheep production, and goat milk processing and agritourism
Speakers on these topics will include speakers on these various topics will include Brad Meagher, Brent Hunley, John Hardin, Ken McMichael, Matt Oberlies.
The event will begin at Goat Milk Stuff, 76 S. Lake Road N in Scottsburg and will conclude there with lunch.
