This Friday Night Sept. 16 downtown Scottsburg will be a busy with three events that evening. Scottsburg Main Street “Cruise-In” around the square will begin at 6 p.m. There will be various Classic cars and muscle cars lining up around the square showing off their beautiful machinery. If you want to participate drive your car down. The first 50 cars registered receive a Dash Plaque to commemorate the evenings’ Cruise-In.
Additionally, “The Ladds Last Exit” band, will be playing for the Cruise-In. Downtown retail and restaurants have been encouraged to stay open late to give visitors an opportunity to shop and dine.
Also at 6 p.m. on the corner of First Street and S.R. 56, will be an evening with singer-songwriter Brooke Hall. Brooke plays a variety of cover songs and originals. Hall has been a drummer for many years in various cover bands but broke out and for the last eight years has been following the singer/songwriter journey playing across Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
At 8:15 p.m. Scottsburg Main Street will host Movie on the Square. This is a family friendly event as they show Disney’s original “Toy Story 2”.
