The Jackson County Public Library along with all other 125+ members of the Evergreen Indiana library consortium, including the Brownstown, Jennings County, and Scott County public libraries, will not have online catalog access or access to some e-resources while state personnel upgrade the system over the holiday weekend from Friday, April 7, through Sunday, April 9.
Due to the upgrade’s lack of accessibility, the Seymour and Crothersville libraries will close Friday, April 7. The Seymour Library will remain closed on Saturday, April 8.
The Scott County Libraries at Austin, Scottsburg and Lexington will be closed Good Friday, April 7.
Library cardholders are encouraged to access the library’s OverDrive/Libby e-book and e-audio collection at https://idl.overdrive.com/ to download materials before Friday, April 7, since it will not be accessible once the upgrade starts.
The Seymour and Crothersville libraries will reopen with regular hours on Monday, April 10.
