The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. this Saturday, April 8. Youngsters in four age divisions will hunt in the field next to the Jackson County Jail on State Road 250 in Brownstown.
There will be 8,000 eggs filled with prizes. There will be areas for four age divisions: up to 3 years old, 4-6 years old, 7-9 years old, and 10-12 years old. Top prize in each division is a bicycle.
There will be a live appearance from the Easter bunny.
