PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Scott County Regional Sewer District (SCRSD) has developed a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) identifying wastewater infrastructure improvements. The projects presented in the PER include the installation of the new sanitary sewer lift station and force main, and Inflow and Infiltration rehabilitation projects. An application to finance the project has been submitted to the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA), State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan program. A Public Hearing is scheduled for August 14, 2023, 5:30 P.M. at the office of the SCRSD, located at 1206 South Taylor Mill Road, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170. The PER is available for public review at the Scott County Library, located at 108 S Main St, Scottsburg, IN 47170. A public notice will be published in the Crothersville Times newspaper ten days prior to the Public Hearing. Written comments will be accepted during the Public Hearing and for a period of five days following. The Court may also determine whether a Protective Order should be entered on behalf of L.S.M.J.

L.S.M.J. may attend the hearing and be represented by an attorney. The Petition may be heard and determined in the absence of L.S.M.J., if the Court determines that the presence of the minor child is not required. If the minor child attends the hearing, opposes the Petition, and is not represented by an attorney, the Court may appoint an attorney to represent the minor child. The Court may, where required, appoint a guardian ad litem to

represent L.S.M.J. at the hearing.

The Court may, on its own motion or on request of any interested person, postpone the hearing to another date and time.
