OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SCOTT COUNTY, INDIANA
An Ordinance Amending the Scott County SASCO Bag and Sticker Fee Schedule for Scott County, Indiana.
WHEREAS, Scott County (the “County”) is a governmental body according to IS 5-22-2-13;
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County desires to amend the fee schedule for SASCO bags and stickers; and
WHEREAS, the Fee Schedule increases certain fees, taking into account the following: (a) the costs to County to maintain the programs (b) the performance of services rendered by the program; and (c) the cost associated with performance of the County’s obligations under the program.
NOW THEREFOR, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SCOTT COUNTY, INDIANA
1. The Fee Schedule for SASCO bags and stickers shall be increased to One and 50/100 Dollars ($1.50).
2. The fee increase is solely to account for ongoing costs of operation of the program and not for the purpose of generating any revenue.
3. This Ordinance is effective upon passage, signing and recording by the residing officer.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Indiana Code 13-20 et. seq. And according to established rules, regulation, and permit created by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management the County operates a Municipal Waste Transfer Station (hereinafter “Scott County Transfer Station”) and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County desires to amend the fee schedule for certain materials collected by the Transfer Station for the County;
WHEREAS, the Fee Schedule increases certain fees, taking into account the following: (a) the costs to County to maintain the Scott County Transfer Station Permit; (b) the performance of services rendered by the Scott County Transfer Station; and (c) the cost associated with performance of the County’s permit obligations.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF SCOO COUNTY, INDIANA
1. The Fee Schedule for disposal at the Scott County Transfer Station shall be charged according to the attached Fee Schedule (incorporated herein by reference as “Exhibit A”)
