City of Austin leaf pick up will begin next Monday, Nov. 15, and will run Monday thru Friday of each week until Dec 17, according to Mayor Roger Hawkins.
Leaves should be placed alongside ditch lines and not in ditches to impede water drainage.
Limbs and branches will not be collected during leaf pick ups and should not be placed with the leaves.
The mayor reminded that there should be no burning of leaves at any time.
