The Crothersville Red, White & Blue Festival committee will be meeting tomorrow (Thursday), February 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the fire station.
Among the early announcements about this year’s festival:
•There will have a carnival this year. A contract has been signed for rides and amusements, according to festival director Sherry Bridges.
•CARD (Crothersville Area Revitalization and Development) is sponsoring Kids Saturday featuring activities for the youth.
•The festival committee is working on other events that will be new for this year and as soon as we have more information we will let the community know.
•“We are still in need of volunteers from the community to help with all the new activities that we are trying to plan,” said Bridges. “We encourage folks to attend our meetings and give us ideas on some of the things that they would like to see at the festival.”
