REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE DESIGN AND Renovation of Bill Graham County Government Building

1.1  Request for Proposal

1.2  Purpose

The County of Scott is inviting all qualified firms to submit proposals to design and renovate the Bill Graham County Government Building. The County of Scott seeks a team which includes design and construction, the “Design-Build Team.” The County of Scott intends to issue one contract to the selected Team for the entire scope of work. The successful bidder shall provide a renovated Bill Graham County Government Building with all required appurtenances at no additional cost to the County of Scott.

The County of Scott and its construction representatives will pass all aspects of design and construction of a newly renovated Bill Graham County Government Building to a qualified Design-Build Team. The County of Scott reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal. The County of Scott reserves the right to accept the proposal that provides the “best value” to the County of Scott and meets the minimum design requirements as set forth within.

The Design-Build Team must exhibit that they, or sufficient members of their team, have experience in the design and renovation of a government building or similar structures in size and scale to that which is being proposed. The Design-Build Team will be required to acquire all necessary permits for the project including, but not limited to, Planning / Zoning, and Building Department approvals. If required of the project, all permit fees will be paid directly by the County of Scott.

2.0  SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

All Bid Proposal Forms and Deliverable Documents shall be delivered sealed in both electronic (flash drive) and hard copy form to the County of Scott Auditor office 1 East McClain Ave Scottsburg Indiana. All proposals must be received by 4:00 PM, WEDNESDAY August 5th, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
