Seymour Crossroads Entertainment will bring three talented musicians to Seymour for a special concert at 8 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the Jackson County Visitor Center.
Billed as “Harley Kimbro Lewis,” Martin Harley, Daniel Kimbro and Sam Lewis collaborated for the first time on an album that received glowing reviews during its 2022 release that was supported by a tour in the United Kingdom.
“It’s exciting that they’re kicking off their 2023 U.S. tour in Seymour,” said Shawn Busby, president of the Crossroads board of directors.

Martin Harley, who is based in the United Kingdom, has been making music and touring the world for over two decades. Exploring blues and roots in a style The Guardian referred to as “spellbinding,” he has released eight albums to date.
Recent nominations include AMA instrumentalist of the year, Best Acoustic Guitarist, and Best Acoustic Blues Artist.
Daniel Kimbro was raised on American roots music in and around Appalachia and is a twice Grammy-nominated musician from Knoxville, Tenn. with numerous recording credits and touring appearances. Splitting his time between Knoxville and Nashville, he is a regular accompanist with John Hiatt, the Jerry Douglas Band, the Earls of Leicester, and The Transatlantic Sessions.
He has appeared with the likes of James Taylor, Alison Krauss, Bela Fleck, Molly Tuttle, Maura O’Connell, and many others.
Sam Lewis is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who has collaborated with artists from Leon Russell to Chris Stapleton, who has dubbed him “a modern Townes Van Zandt.” Lewis is often labeled with the word ‘soulful’ and a style that meets at a juncture of multiple musical genres.
His songs and stories are enhanced with a unique stage banter developed from performing in numerous music halls, clubs, theaters, festivals and music cruises around the world.
This stand-alone concert precedes the 2023 Crossroads Acoustic Fest, which will be held April 28 and 29 at multiple venues in downtown Seymour, featuring a lineup of world class musicians and songwriters. The festival is returning this spring after a hiatus forced by the Covid pandemic.
