The Jackson County Invasive Partnership group, an organization to inform the public about invasive vegetation in Indiana and how to control it, is holding a native plant sale through July 30.
Shrubs (Pasture Rose, Buttonbush, Spicebush and Elderberry) will sell for $35, trees (Black Gum, Redbud and Sassafras) will sell for $43 and a package of flower seeds that include Butterfly Weed, Prairie Blazingstar, Lanceleaf Coreopsis and Foxglove Beardtongue will sell for $4 per package of seed.
Payment must accompany order forms. Orders will not be placed without payment. Order forms can be emailed to you or you can stop by the USDA office at 1350 Woodside Drive, off SR 135 S in Brownstown.
Orders will be available Sept. 16 or 18 to pick up at the Jackson-Washington State Forest office. Available times are listed on the order form.
