Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies continued their assult on illegal drugs last week resulting in seven people incarcerated on a variety of drug charges.
On Saturday, July 24, Deputy John Hartman conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County. His investigation led to the arrest of Jacob Robinson, 25, of Deputy for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
That same day Deputy Kacey Reschar and Corporal Johnney Coomer made a traffic stop in rural Scott County which resulted in the arrest of Gerald Mahoney, 29, of Madison, for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a synthetic drug, driving while suspended with a prior conviction and maintaining a common nuisance.
On Sunday, July 25, Deputies Hartman, Skylar Thompson, and Jessica Dicky along with Austin Police Officer Cody Kelly went to an address in Austin in an ongoing investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation three people were arrested on drug related charges.
Jessica Wilson, 40, of Austin was arrested for possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a syringe, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.
Kallie White, 24, of Austin was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.
Emily Lamaster, 25, of Austin was arrested for visiting a common nuisance.
Also on Sunday Deputy Skylar Thompson made a traffic stop in rural Scott County. His investigation led to the arrest of two people for drug related charges.
Melvin Cooley, 35, of New Albany, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
Agnes Davis, 50, of Scottsburg was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance.
All were incarcerated in Scott County Jail.
