Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies charged four people with a variety of drug charges last week
Around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, Deputies served a search warrant at 1217 Clay Street in Austin. The search warrant was obtained after an investigation by Lieutenant John Hartman and a review from the Scott County Prosecutor’s Office, according to Scott County Sheriff Jerry Goodin.
“During the search deputies located approximately a half of an ounce of methamphetamine,” Goodin said
Arrested from the residence were
•Timothy Harlow, 34, of Vevay, charged with possession of methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana.
•Joe Brooks, 34 of Austin, charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana.
•James Barger, 56, of Austin, charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana.
Earlier on Friday, Oct. 1, deputies William Morris and Johnney Coomer made a traffic stop in Scottsburg which resulted in the arrest of Destiny Hodge, 21 of Crothersville for fleeing from lawful detention and possession of methamphetamine.
