Since 1990, “We Care” has supported the children of Scott County. Through community collaboration, the program has assisted over 34,000 children and generated more than $2.3 million to date.

Each year, funds are distributed to local schools that identify students from families with limited resources. The provision of critical items such as coats, boots, and winter hats ensures a level of protection during the colder winter months, according to John Myers, secretary of ‘We Care’.
