Scottsburg Warriorettes’ season came to a heartbreaking end on Saturday when they lost to the (24-4) Gibson Southern Titans 81-66 finishing their season in the Elite 8 of the IHSAA Class 3A Girl’s Basketball Semi State at Jasper.

The Warriorettes ended their season 22-5.
The only other area team in semi state action, the Brownstown Central Lady Braves defeated third ranked Eastern Hancock 45-29 to advance to the 2A state championship to face Fort Wayne Bishop Luers this coming Saturday.
