A derelict former filling station at the intersection of State Road 56 & 3 in rural Scott County may become a used car sales lot pending approval of re-zoning by the Scott County Plan Commission, according to a legal notice in this issue of the Times.
Ray Hibbard of Clark County is seeking to have a 1.34 acre parcel at 532 S State Road 3 in Lexington Township re-zoned from B-1 local business to B-2 General Business to allow for a used car sales lot.
According to the legal notice, Hibbard plans a used vehicle dealership with outdoor display and an office at the location.
The Scott County Plan commission will hold a public hearing on the re-zoning next Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m.
