Temporary lane restrictions on US 31 between State Road 56 and State Road 250 is to begin this week. The restrictions are part of a 12-mile asphalt resurfacing project between Uniontown and Scottsburg. This project is weather dependent.
The $1.7 million contract was awarded to Dave O’Mara Contractor of North Vernon and has a November 16 completion date.
Restrictions will be one lane at a time and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
