The town has been working for several months to allow utility customers to pay their monthly bill using a credit/debit card, calling in a payment or paying through a link at the town’s website.
Heartland Payment Systems is administering the electronic payment process which got underway March 2. A 3% convenience fee will be added top each electronic payment.
Residents can call 844-677-9446 with their credit card information or utility customers can being their card into the town office like the clerk-treasurer and pay their water,sewer, trash and recycling bill.
Beginning in April utility customers will be able to go to the town’s website at www.crothersville.net and click on a link to pay their utility bill online.
