Crothersville clerk-treasurer Danieta Foster announced this week that Town Hall has a new phone system that allows officials to monitor calls remotely.
“If you want to report an after hours emergency, such as a water line break or sewer stoppage, call the usual town hall phone number (812-793-2311) and leave a message,” she said. “Those messages will be passed on to the proper department to be handled in a timely manner, and according to their severity.”
Please do not call an employee’s personal phone for town business after hours
“This is not a police/fire line,” she said. “For emergencies call please call 911, or the appropriate non-emergency line for those calls.”
