Additional arrests on a variety of drug offenses were made by Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies, according to a news release from Scott Sheriff Jerry Goodin.
Deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous drug tip about illegal drug activity at an address on Ox Road in Finley Township, early last week.
Deputies went to the residence where they were met by Deborah Gay, 58, of that Underwood address.
Searching the residence located over a hundred grams of marijuana, over 25 grams of methamphetamine, some controlled substances, assorted paraphernalia, a syringe, and a handgun. Deborah Gay was placed under arrest for dealing methamphetamine, dealing marijuana, dealng in controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of a syringe. She was incarcerated in Scott County Jail.
Earlier, deputies received tip information on the location of Stephanie Gross, 32, of Austin, who was wanted on an outstanding court warrant. Gross was located and arrested on the warrant as well as charged with dealing methamphetamine, dealing controlled substance, possession of syringe, and visiting a common nuisance.
During her arrest, Jessie Higdon, 23, from Scottsburg, was arrested for possession of controlled substance.
