Scottsburg Radio I-105.3 annually conducts an initiative known as the “Teddy Bear Challenge,” during which Teddy Bears are collected and distributed to hospitals and first responders. The soft, cuddly toys are important to provide comfort to youngsters suffering trauma.
This year, I-105.3 donated several stuffed animals to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department.
“The 2025 I-105.3 Teddy Bear Challenge was a notable success and positively impacts young children experiencing traumatic events,” said John Myers of I-105.3. “While a soft toy may appear insignificant to adults, for children in crisis it can serve as a source of comfort, reassurance, and hope.”
