Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 56 over Mill Creek to complete an additional bridge deck overlay project in Washington County.
The closure will take place between South Dog Trot Road and South Mill Creek Road located west of Salem. State Road 56 is expected to reopen in late September, weather permitting. An additional bridge deck overlay project took place west of Salem earlier this summer over Goose Creek. This project is part of a $3 million contract awarded to E&B in September 2024.
