The Crothersville Theta Nu Chapter of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority held a surprise party for Norma England on Wednesday, May 12, at Lucille’s Restaurant, to celebrate her 50 years as a sorority member.
Theta Nu President, Glenda Seal, (standing, center) presented Norma a 50 year gold pin and certificate. In attendance were Phi Beta Psi National President, Cindy Pierce (right), Phi Beta Psi Indiana State Presidentt Connie Hueber (left) and several members from the Scottsburg Theta Alpha Chapter, Theta Nu members, and the family of Norma England.
Phi Beta Psi Sorority is a national organization, which was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1904. It is not affiliated in any way with a college or university, but is a civic organization.
The purpose of Phi Beta Psi is to participate in charitable work, to promote fraternal relationship among its members and to establish and assist other chapters of Phi Beta Psi.
