The theme of the Seymour Museum Gala will be “Extra! Extra! Read All About It!” on Saturday, Aug. 23. The event will feature history and artifacts of the county’s past and present local newspapers.
The Summer Gala will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the museum located at 220 N. Chestnut Street.
Sponsorships will help to fund the museum operations for 2025 and continued work on acquisitions and exhibits of Seymour history. Sponsors will be recognized in the program and will be provided tickets for the evening.
Levels of sponsorship are: Conductor-$5,000 for 1 page ad & 6 tickets; Engineer-$2,500-$4,999 for 1/2 page ad & 4 tickets; Fireman-$1,000-$2,499 for 1/4 page ad & 4 tickets; Porter-$500-$999 for 1/4 page ad & 2 tickets; Station Master-$250-$499 for 1/8 page ad & 2 tickets.
Sponsorships should be returned to the museum no later than Aug. 1.
