Seven from Scott County were arrested last week by Indiana State Police and Austin and Charlestown City Police on drug related charges in Austin.
The investigation began after information was received that the occupants of a residence located at 203 New York Street in Austin were allegedly selling controlled substances out of the residence.
During a search at 203 New York Street troopers located several different types of pills including Oxycontin, Zanax, Hydrocodone, Lortab, Norcoís, and Methadone. Marijuana was also located along with over $17,000 in cash and checks were seized.
At the same time troopers also went to a residence located at 168 South Sixth Street in Austin to serve an arrest warrant on Revone Groenenboom for Dealing in Cocaine.
During the serving of the arrest warrant at 168 South Sixth Street controlled substances were found on Revone Groenenboom during the arrest.
Arrested were:
•Revone Groenenboom, 28, of Austin charged with dealing in cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.
•Gabriel E. Land, 31, of Austin charged with possession of a schedule two controlled substance, dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, six counts of possession of a schedule three controlled substance, six counts of dealing in a schedule three controlled substance, dealing in marijuana under thirty grams, possession of marijuana under thirty grams, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance.
•Joyce A. Boswell, 61, of Austin charged with possession of a schedule two controlled substance, dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, six counts of possession of a schedule three controlled substance, six counts of dealing in a schedule three controlled substance, dealing in marijuana under thirty grams, possession of marijuana under thirty grams, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance.
•Michelle M. Boswell, 26, of Austin charged with possession of a schedule two controlled substance, dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, six counts ofpossession of a schedule three controlled substance, six counts of dealing in a schedule three controlled substance, dealing in marijuana under thirty grams, possession of marijuana under thirty grams, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance.
•Bennito L. Rodriquez, 30, of Austin charged with dealing in cocaine, conspiracy to deal cocaine.
•Ance E. Riley, 33, of Austin charged with dealing in a schedule two controlled substance.
•Brooklynn G. Mack, 22, of Scottsburg charged with dealing in methamphetamine.
All arrested persons were incarcerated in the Scott County Jail awaiting their first court appearance.
The investigation is part of the continuing presence the Indiana State Police has and will continue to maintain in the City of Austin to assist the Austin City Police in crime control.
