Valerie Mains’ peach pie was judged the grand champion during the Sesquicentennial Pie Baking Contest Saturday.
First place in the Fruit Pie division went to Mary Kay Rose; 2nd, Sue Walther; 3rd, Barbara Pine.
In the Cream Pie division, Butch Crafton was first, Sharon Langdon was second and Donna Crafton placed third.
In the Specialty Pie division, Bonnie Masters was first, Carolyn Barrett second and Mary Kay Rose third.
Following the contest, all pies were auctioned to the highest bidder.
The grand champion peach pie was purchased by the Crothersville Times for $25.
