Detectives with the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg were notified on Monday, Feb. 17, by the Scott County Division of Child Services that James Terry, 39, of the 300 block of North Gardner Street in Scottsburg, had allegedly battered a small child and a female and then reportedly intimidated the woman with death if she called the police.
After detectives spoke with Terry, he was arrested for battery, intimidation, both felonies, and domestic battery.
He was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.
