The Scottsburg FFA Chapter had a strong showing at the recent 2025 Indiana FFA State Convention, earning multiple honors and showcasing talent, leadership, and commitment across a wide range of events.
A highlight of the week was the presentation of Hoosier Degrees, the highest honor the Indiana FFA Association can bestow upon its members. Scottsburg was proud to have 14 recipients: Kavan Bramble, Aiden Browalski, Addison Cheatham, Brynley Culley, Aubree Eldridge, Marley Fleenor, Kailyn Gibson, Madilyn Holliday, Casen Judd, Madilyn Meagher, Randi Palmer-Sipe, Henry Tellez, Erica Thomas, and Mia Voiles.

The Ag Mechanics and Technology Career Development Event (CDE) team—consisting of Aiden Browalski, Logan Fergison, Ryan Hiler, and Henry Tellez—secured a 10th place finish at the state level, demonstrating strong technical knowledge and teamwork. In the Veterinary Science competition, members Addison Cheatham, Aubree Eldridge, Randi Palmer-Sipe, and Mia Voiles represented Scottsburg with pride.
Scottsburg’s Traditional Scrapbook entry, highlighting the chapter’s activities over the past year, took home 3rd place. Contributors to the award-winning scrapbook included Addison Cheatham, Aubree Eldridge, Madilyn Holliday, and Megan Meyer.
The chapter also received recognition as a Silver Emblem Donor, highlighting their commitment to supporting Indiana FFA programs. Members, Josue Telles and Brynley Culley served as official delegates. Aubree Eldridge is representing the chapter in a leadership role this year as District XI President, where she will serve on an officer team with FFA members from other schools and help plan events for the district. Kavan Bramble showcased his talents as part of State Convention’s talent program by performing with his banjo.
