Scott Memorial Hospital has won the “Excellence through Insight” award for “Overall Employee Satisfaction & Engagement in the Medium Hospital Category” from HealthStream Research™.

Through its research products, executives from approximately 1,100 healthcare facilities gain valuable insight about patients’ experiences, workforce challenges, physician relations and community perceptions of their services.

The Excellence through Insight awards recognize hospitals that excel in their ability to gain insight into their patients, employees, physicians and community through research and to use that information to build excellence within their organization.
To qualify for an award, a facility must have been an employee satisfaction-tracing client of HealthStream Research in 2009, scored in the 75th percentile or higher, and surveyed a minimum of 100 employees. Scott Memorial Hospital was chosen for receiving the highest ratings in the above mentioned category from among HealthStream Research’s clients, as well as exceeding industry standards.
Winners will be recognized during an awards ceremony at the HealthStream Summit, May 19-20 at the Gaylord Orpyland Hotel in Nashville, TN.
