The Norton Scott Hospital volunteer services team is actively seeking passionate, community-oriented volunteers to help operate its on-site gift shop.
Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks, including using cash registers, stocking inventory, arranging displays, coordinating phone orders, and opening and closing the shop. Most important, they provide a welcoming presence for patients, families, guests and staff.
Hospital gift shops can provide a moment of comfort for patients, families, guests and employees — and volunteers play a crucial role in their experiences.
