Two Scott County 4-H Youth recently competed at the Indiana State Fair in the Lawn & Garden and Tractor Operator’s Driving Contest. Jarred Richey and Paxton Donohue qualified for the State Fair Contest when they competed at the Area Contest on July 21 in Salem.
Jarred (left) competed at State in the Senior Division of Tractor Driving and Paxton (right) in the Junior Division of Lawn & Garden Driving. Jarred is a 9-year 4-H member and this was his 9th year competing in the State Contest. Paxton is a 2-year 4-H member and this was his second year competing in the State Contest. They each received a white ribbon in their respective contests.
Jarred is the son of Latonia and Joey Richey of Scottsburg, and Paxton is the son of Hannah and Jesse Donohue of Scottsburg.
