As a leader of innovative healthcare in southern Indiana for more than 100 years, Schneck Medical Center knows that health encompasses more than advanced technology and medical procedures. While Schneck is always here to care for its patients during times of illness and injury, it is embracing the future of healthcare and taking the lead to create a healthy community.
It’s more important than ever to work together to prevent chronic diseases and conditions such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, obesity, and diabetes. Many of these are caused by preventable risk factors and our community can effectively impact these diseases and conditions by making changes to support healthful lifestyles.
One of the ways Schneck is delivering on its commitment to making the health of the communities it serves a priority is by transforming the annual health fair into a new event—The Live Well Expo. The event will offer a myriad of screenings, activities, and demonstrations that will entertain, engage, and empower attendees to take action and make healthier living choices.
While details are still being developed, Schneck’s Live Well Expo will be held on Saturday, October 10.
