As the holiday season gets underway with the annual FFA Craft Show and Food Drive, (CARD) Crothersville Area Revitalization and Development committee would like to invite the public to the Crothersville Kick Off for the Holidays. “We have made arrangements for Santa to fly in and meet all the good little boys and girls at the log cabin on Howard street across from the Town & Country Restaurant this Saturday, November 22, from 4:30 -5:45 p.m.,” said Tracy Karnes, a spokesperson for CARD. Everyone needs to bring their own camera to take pictures, and join in the fun in telling Santa your wish list for Christmas.
Then at 5:45 p.m., Santa will be walking to the corner of Howard & Armstrong to light the Christmas Tree, before he heads back to the North Pole, said Karnes.
“Everyone is invited to come out and sing carols and join in the fun as we begin our 150th Holiday Season for Crothersville,” she said. If it is raining or bad weather, Santa will be at Town Hall during this time so that all the children will be able to give them their wishes.
