A 33-year-old Scott County man accused of molesting a 13-year-old child after sneaking into her house through a window in December was arrested last Thursday, police report.
Jeremy W. Mullins of Bogardus Road in Austin faces three felony counts of child molesting and two other felony counts in connection with the investigation, according to Indiana State Police Trooper Tony Brishaber.
Mullins’ arrest stems from an investigation into allegations he climbed through the window of the girl’s residence in Scottsburg during the nighttime hours on Dec. 17 and molested the girl. Mullins left the residence after the parents of the child became aware that he was in the home.
Mullins was incarcerated in Scott County Jail after his arrest.
