As residents and volunteers of Crothersville gear up for the Sesquicentennial Celebration, the Parade committee is also gearing up for this once in a lifetime Parade event.
Cheri Dorsey, Parade director and Chad Wilson, co- director are finalizing plans for the Parade slated to take place on Saturday, Sept. 13. The theme, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”, will be extremely special mixing memories of yesterday while incorporating events of today and our youth representing tomorrow. The parade will also feature local celebrities, business entries, horses, clowns and alot of surprises. Mystery emcees will also announce the entries as the parade travels through town.
Registration will begin at 1 p.m. at the Industrial Park, south of town. The parade will begin promptly at 4 p.m. The route will be from the Industrial Park to Hwy. 31, north through town and disperse at the Peoples Bank. A gathering point for the parade participants dispersing if needed, will take place at the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church parking lot.
