Notice Of Public Hearing
The Jackson County Council has called for a public hearing on the adoption of a County Motor Vehicle Excise Surtax and County Wheel Tax to be held at the Courthouse Annex, Brownstown, Indiana, at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
Interested persons may appear in person or by counsel to present their view upon the proposed taxes. Written suggestions or objections to this proposal may be filed with the Auditor before the hearing and will be considered by the Council.
