Jackson County Treasurer Kathy Hohenstreiter reminds property owners that the fall installment of property taxes is due by Thursday, Nov. 10.

Payments can be made at all locations of The Peoples Bank, Medora State Bank and at the County Treasurer’s office in the historic courthouse in Brownstown.

There is a secure drop box on the Sugar Street side of the courthouse for after-hours payments.

Tax payments can be made by credit card or e-check at the county’s website at www.jacksoncounty.in.gov and “Click here” to pay.

Mail in payments are accepted but must be postmarked on or before Nov. 10 to be considered on time, she said.

County offices are closed Tuesday, Nov. 8, for election day and Friday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day.

For any questions contact the treasurer’s office at 812-358-6125.
