Two rural Scottsburg residents were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine following a routine probation check last week.
Indiana State Police accompanied Scott County Probation officials on Tuesday, Jan. 3, on a probation check at 1157 N. Solar Street, Scottsburg. There they reported they found methamphetamine being made using the shake and bake method.
Arrested were were James M. Humphrey, 43, and Ashleigh M. Shapinsky, 29, both of 1157 N. Solar.St.
They face charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining common nuisance, possession of precursors, possession of syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance.
The pair were incarcerated in Scott County Jail.
