Scott County Fair will be June 22-28. Entries for the Open Class building will be accepted at the 4-H / Open Class Exhibit Building on Thursday, June 19 from noon till 6 p.m. for all items (including foods). Any one, adults and children, in Scott County and surrounding areas are welcome to enter items they have made into the following categories. Items should not have been entered into a previous Scott County Fair. You can enter up to three items per category.
FINE ARTS: China Painting, Oil, Pencil Drawing, Colored Pencil Drawing, Acrylics, Chalk, Pastels, Watercolor, Etching, Miscellaneous.
ARTS & CRAFTS: Novelty Pictures, Ceramics, Woodworking, Plaster, Christmas & Holiday Items, Wreathes [non-floral], Wall or Door Hanging, Decoupage, Scrapbooking, Button Art, Fleece [no sew], Dolls, Repurposed Item, Yard Art, Weaving, Poetry and Miscellaneous.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Pictures mounted on a 22×28 Poster Board/Displayed Horizontally/Stiff Backing/Covered in Plastic. Pictures on a single poster should be of the same topic. They can be 10 pictures in black and white or 10 pictures in color. Salon Prints must be framed and ready to hang, sizes accepted will be 8×10 or 11×14, and they can be black & white or colored. 4 pictures of the same topic in a single frame any size and ready to hang. They can be black and white or colored. Other categories are Digital Computer Photography, Miscellaneous.

Gardening and Flower items will be accepted Monday, June 23 from 8:00 till 12 noon at the Horticultural Building.
GARDENING: Apples[5], Beans [1/2 pint shelled] or [20 bean pods], Beets [5], Berries [12], Cabbage [1], Carrots [5], Corn [5 ears unhusked], Cucumbers [5], Eggplant [1], Grapes {a full stem}, Herbs [5], Onions [5], Okra [5], Peaches [5], Peppers [5], Plums [5], Potatoes [5], Pumpkin [1], Rhubarb [5], Squash [1], Tomatoes [5], Salad Tomatoes [12], Market Basket [must contain 6 different varieties of vegetables].
FLOWERS: Cut Flowers [Most of the small to medium size flowers require 5 blooms or heads and most of the large flowers require 1 bloom or head]. Also will accept Hostas, Potted Flowers, Live Flower Arrangements, and Potted Container Flowers.
