Norton Scott Hospital recently recognized Cindy Bush, director of patient financial services, as an outstanding leader with its annual Legendary Leader award.
Nominated by employees, the Legendary Leader award is given to a leader who lives by the organization’s core values of respecting every person; setting the standard for quality and caring; continually improving care and service; demonstrating stewardship of resources; accepting accountability for results; succeeding with integrity; building a community within the department/hospital; eliminating barriers by communicating and collaborating with others; maintaining a positive attitude; and encouraging and supporting teams and peers.
“Our team is like family, and we support each other while at work and personally,” said Kathy Vancampen, vice president, operations, Norton Scott Hospital. “Cindy exemplifies excellent leadership skills, and I am proud to have her on our team.”
Norton Scott Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Scottsburg has been providing care to Scott County and its neighboring communities since 1959.
