Crothersville’s new Chief of Police Vurlin McIntosh was sworn in Sunday evening at town hall.
Following the official oath, his mother-in-law Opal Hale, widow of the late Cephas Hale, a former chief of police at Austin, pins the chief’s eagles onto his collar.
McIntosh officially took over the duties as Crothersville Police Chief today, April 1.
