The Jackson County Health Department will be holding a Mini-Health Fair at the Crothersville Senior Center 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 to provide Free screenings to Crothersville area citizens.
These screenings are free and non-invasive. A few of the tests will require a finger-stick as they are blood-based.
“This is a community-outreach by the Health Department as part of our effort to encourage people to know their health status regarding blood pressure, cholesterol, Hepatitis C and other hidden conditions,” said Lin Montgomery, Public health Emergency Planner for the health department. “This is an opportunity for community members 60 and up whether they are members of the senior center or not.”
Get a free health check-up and know your status for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, hepatitis c, pulse/oximeter check, and more.
The county health department will be conducting a similar health fair at the Brownstown Senior Citizens Center on Thursday, May 18, and Seymour Community Center on Thursday, June 1.
