Four people were arrested on drug charges in separate incidents last week in Scott County.
Sheriff’s Deputies were searching for a wanted person on Thursday, June 29, in Scott County when what started on land ended up in a rain-swollen creek.
Deputy Kacey Reschar located Timothy Scott Stagnolia, 45, of Scottsburg who was wanted on a warrant issued by the Scott Circuit Court for failure to appear in court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. Stagnolia attempted to elude arrest by running from authorities but was ultimately captured in a water-filled creek bed. Assisting Deputy Reschar was Deputy Zach Brown and Lieutenant Charlie Morgan of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the Scottsburg City Police, and the Clark County Emergency Management Office.
In other arrests:
Robert E. Morrow, 34, of Madison was arrested on Wednesday, June 28, on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and for violating home detention.
On Thursday, June 29, Angel S. Smith, 23, of Scottsburg, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a Clark County warrant for violating home detention.
On Friday, June 30, Wayne L. Wilson, 51, of Scottsburg, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Saturday, June 24, Jason K. Updegraff, 27, of Deputy, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine,
possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, and for driving without a license.
Dustin R. Reed, 33, also of Deputy, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and for visiting a common nuisance on June 24.
All were incarcerated in Scott County Jail.
