With Father’s Day coming up, Scott Memorial Hospital is hosting a Men’s Health Fair this Saturday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will offer free food and activities for the whole family.
This event will feature booths on hunting, fishing, archery, fitness, sports, and more. Free health screenings will include prostate exams, blood sugar, blood pressure, vision and hearing. Cholesterol and PSA testing (a screening to detect prostate cancer) will also be available for $15 each.
To pre-register for a prostate exam, or to schedule cholesterol and PSA testing call 752-9730. An 8-hour fast is recommended for the cholesterol and blood sugar screenings.
