A former apartment property manager at Penn Villa Apartments in Crothersville has been charged with theft of security deposits.
Christina Mason, 32, of Madison was booked into Jackson County Jail on Wednesday, April 4.
In late February, Indiana State Police Detective Rachel Hunt received a report of an alleged theft from Artisan Realtors/Penn Villa Apartments in Crothersville.
Hunt indicated that at the time of the reported theft, Mason was serving as the acting property manager at the Apartments. It is alleged she received deposit money from apartment applicants and diverted the money for her use, Hunt said.
